MANDATORY EQUIPMENT

Ski Coat will be provided to use for the season

Proper fitting boots are the most important item!

Racing skis and bindings

If you are buying only one pair of skis, Slalom can be used for both events
-

Racing helmet:
-
Full helmet with hard ear covering and chin guard attachment [for slalom only].

If you are buying a new helmet, look for one that conforms to FIS safety standards

Poles with protective hand guards

Guards are only used for Slalom

Goggles
-
Clear or light lenses are best for night skiing

Gloves or Mittens - preferrably waterproof with good insulation

Warm ski socks

Open to Juniors and Seniors - must be veteran team member in good standing with NHS and the Ski Team.
